This comprehensive nine-month, tuition-free program delivers practical, hands-on training, preparing graduates for immediate employment in diverse pharmacy settings. The curriculum, taught by experienced pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians, combines classroom instruction, lab work, tutoring, and valuable clinical externship experience. Students gain the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as pharmacy technicians, including medication preparation, dispensing, and patient communication. Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, making them eligible for registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy and prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. This program provides a strong foundation for recent high school graduates, career changers, and anyone seeking to enter the growing healthcare industry.
