Mission College’s Pharmacy Technician Program offers a unique opportunity to launch a career in the pharmacy field. This comprehensive, tuition-free, nine-month program is designed to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as pharmacy technicians. What sets this program apart is its accessibility, being open to all students, regardless of their WVMC district location. The curriculum combines classroom instruction, hands-on lab experience, dedicated tutoring, and a valuable clinical externship, ensuring students gain real-world experience. Taught by experienced pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians, the program offers a well-rounded education. Upon completion, graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, making them eligible for licensure by the California State Board of Pharmacy and qualified to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam, opening doors to diverse job opportunities in retail, hospital, and specialized pharmacy settings.
