The Foothill College Pharmacy Technician Program is a comprehensive pathway into a rewarding healthcare career. Designed as a nine-month intensive program starting each Fall, it provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as pharmacy technicians. As an ASHP/ACPE accredited program, it adheres to the highest standards of quality and prepares graduates for success in the field. Students can choose from multiple pathways including an Associate in Science degree or various certificates catering to different career aspirations, from entry-level positions to advanced roles. Completing the program equips graduates to apply for registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy and to pursue national certification through the PTCE exam.
