The curriculum emphasizes assisting with legally permissible duties under the guidance of licensed pharmacists, maintaining inventories, preparing medications, and updating patient profiles. A primary goal of the program is to prepare graduates to confidently sit for and pass the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (CPhT), thereby enhancing their employability.
