Mission College’s Pharmacy Technician Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking a fast-track entry into the pharmacy field. This comprehensive nine-month program is now tuition-free, making it accessible to a wider range of students. The curriculum takes a practical approach, combining classroom instruction with hands-on lab work, tutoring, and a valuable clinical externship, ensuring students gain real-world experience. Taught by experienced pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians, the program covers all areas of pharmacy practice. Upon completion, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion, making them eligible to register with the California State Board of Pharmacy and sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam, opening doors to various career opportunities in retail, hospital, closed-door, and pharmacy benefit management settings.
